I’m Rose Lembelembe, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo and based in Mexico for almost two decades. I founded Alika Studio with the vision of creating a space where Afro beauty is celebrated, respected, and experienced as cultural expression.

With over 12 years of professional braiding experience, I’ve collaborated with global brands such as Adidas, Nike, Buchanan’s, NBA, and Movistar, and participated in advertising campaigns, editorial productions, and runway shows, including Expo Beauty Show 2025, where Alika presented a collection inspired by modern African heritage.

Alika Studio is more than a beauty salon — it’s a bridge between cultures, creativity, and identity. Our mission is to break paradigms and braid cultures, offering services and experiences that honor both tradition and innovation in Afro hair artistry.
